Library Cards
A parent or legal guardian must be present and accept full financial responsibility for overdue fines and lost items in order to get a full-service card for their child.
If a parent or legal guardian is not present, a child may get a Youth Library Card which allows for a maximum check-out of 3 children’s or teen books and internet computer access. The child must be able to provide their name and birthdate to be granted the card. Youth Cards do not incur overdue fines.
While Teen Central staff love to help kids find materials they will enjoy, parents are responsible for monitoring the appropriateness of all library material for their own child(ren).
Computers
All library cards automatically give access to the library’s electronic media and resources and internet computers. Parents may choose to opt-out for their child(ren)’s card.
