The HPL Foundation will host its 16th annual mingle murder mystery fundraiser, A Night at the Library: SLAYED: Secrets, Death & Rock 'n' Roll, on Saturday, October 18 at 7 p.m.
99.4 WHPL cranks up the volume to bring you a night of rock history in the making: SLAYED live on the Main St. Stage! After years apart, the legendary band that once ruled the charts is reuniting at the venue where it all began for a comeback tour that’s already sparking controversy. With their killer anthems and razor-sharp lyrics, they walked a fine line between harmony and chaos. But rumors often swirled about their frontman’s rude off-stage behavior. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or just here for the drama, you won’t want to miss the exclusive preshow interview, hosted by WHPL’s beloved morning crew. Can SLAYED keep the band—and themselves—together long enough to rock the stage one more time? Be there to find out!
Guests are welcome to come READY TO ROCK in their most hard-core SLAY NATION attire (costumes encouraged, not required), enjoy live music, food and drinks (cash bar) in the stacks, and become amateur sleuths to discover who-dunnit by the end of the night. Tickets are $40 and will be available at the library or online beginning September 1.
