The Hedberg Public Library lawn is bursting with Color Our World HPL 2025 Summer Library Challenge pride as the first 43 of the “I completed the Summer Library Challenge” yard signs were placed on Tuesday, July 8.
Congratulations to participants of all ages who have completed the Summer Library Challenge so far, including Lily, age 8, who stopped in to the HPL Children's Room with her dad to fill out her sign and add a special message of library love! We will put out another batch of yard signs later in July.
We have just reached the halfway point of the program and as of Wednesday, July 9 at 4:00 p.m., we have an astounding 1,615 participants in the program! These participants have read 548,180 minutes and completed 6,384 badges on their way to completing the challenge! Button and sticker 3 were released on Monday, July 7, and if you haven't picked up yours yet, button and sticker 1-3 are all available at the HPL Summer Desk, HPL Express, and on the HPL Bookmobile.
While visiting the library, be sure to check out the coloring sheets on the Color Our World wall and see the creative, colorful work of all the participants--and add yours to the display!
There is still time to join in the fun of the 2025 HPL Summer Library Challenge for a chance to win prizes, and, upon completion, add your sign to our yard and choose a free book (August 1-15)! Sign up online, at the library, HPL Express, or the HPL Bookmobile now through August 8.
Keep Coloring Our World!
Thank You 2025 Summer Library Challenge Sponsors!
The Summer Library Challenge would not be as fun and exciting as it is without the generosity of our sponsors--THANK YOU!
