When using our Study Rooms please remember...
- The person named on the booking must be present for the room to be unlocked
- Damages or misuse of the room is the responsibility of the person named on the booking
- Inform staff when you leave the room
- If you are 15 minutes late, the room booking may be cancelled
- If a room is left unoccupied for over 15 minutes, the booking is forfeit and staff will move all unattended items to Lost & Found
- The number of people in a room cannot exceed the number of chairs
- All room bookings by a single person or group cannot exceed 4 hours a day; which means
- If more than one person is using a room, they cannot put another person's name from their group on a new booking for another 4 hours.
- If you've had a room for four hours, leave and come back, you cannot have another four hours.
- If the rooms are not busy: one 1-hour extension may be provided
- The room needs to left as clean as it was when you entered.
- All library Behavior policies must be observed while using study rooms, not limited to but including
- No excessive noise from talking, music, or movies. The rooms are NOT soundproof!
- No laying on the floor/sleeping
- No offensive odors such as strong body odor, overpowering perfume or cologne, odors from tobacco, marijuana or vape smoke.
- Leave the room on time. This includes when your booking ends or 15 minutes before the library closes.
- If any of these policies are not followed, room usage/or all library privileges will be revoked for a determined amount of time
