Do you feel like you are always buying your kids new sports equipment?
Do you really want to see if you would enjoy a sport, but do not want to purchase new equipment to try it out?
Hedberg Public Library has the philosophy of "see a need, fill a need" and with the success of our Back-to-School Clothing Exchange and Baby & Toddler Clothing Exchange, we are expanding our scope to fill another need for our community.
New this May, Hedberg Public Library will host a free Sporting Goods Exchange.
HOW IT WORKS:
Bring In Old Stuff
From May 1-21, donate your slightly used (but still useful) sports equipment so it can find a new home! A collection bin will be located near the Main Branch (316 S. Main St.) Service Desk during regular library hours. All ages and all kinds of sports equipment are welcome.
Take Home New-to-You Stuff
Stop back to "shop" for new-to-you items, while supplies last, on May 27 and 28 from 1-7 pm. No registration necessary. No donation is needed to shop the Sporting Goods Exchange.
Mark Your Calendars
While you're cleaning out your closets, mark your calendars for our next Back-to-School Clothing Exchange in August.
