HPL Foundation's 16th Annual A Night at the Library ROCKED!

We really ROCKED our 16th annual A Night at the Library Fundraiser on Saturday, October 18, with over 100 guests in attendance for the rock and roll-themed mingle murder mystery, SLAYED: Secrets, Death, & Rock 'n' Roll

From the energetic live music of Moth the Band to the engaging staff-written script and powerful scenes created by the volunteer actors, Hedberg Public Library became Main St. Stage--where legends are born--for one night only! Photos from the memorable evening of music, murder, and mystery paired with food and drinks among the stacks can be found on our Facebook page.

Thanks to the hard work of library staff, generous support from sponsors, and enthusiasm from our guests, this event raised over $8,000 for the Hedberg Public Library Foundation, which provides additional funding for library materials and programs. The Foundation is currently raising money for a new HPL Bookmobile.

Thank you to Rooster Roofing, Jaysen Jorgensen State Farm, American Power Inc., Hagen CPA, Panda Garden, R.K. Smith Realty, Premier Bank, Forzack Trucking, Blackhawk Community Credit Union, Centerway Auto, Citrus Cafe, First National Bank and Trust, KC Group LLC, Package Pro Express Delivery, and our prize sponsors for their rock-solid support! Special thanks to those sponsors who rocked out with us--you made the night legendary!

Thank you also to library staff, Moth the Band, Milwaukee Grill, our volunteer actors, and our other volunteers for making it such a memorable evening.
