Many people know that the TV shows A Game of Thrones, Sherlock, and Little House on the Prairie were based on books, but did you know that Big Little Lies, Friday Night Lights, and Outlander were, as well? Hedberg Public Library has all of these Books to TV to Books on the shelf!
Did you know that TV shows were also made of Leo Tolstoy's War and Peace, Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire, and the Nancy Drew mystery series?
In addition, HPL stocks many TV show companions as well - books that are based on the shows themselves. There is an oversized picture book for I Love Lucy, episode guides for CSI and Supernatural, and books that go even deeper behind the scenes, interviewing cast and crew for shows such as Grey's Anatomy, Saturday Night Live, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. We also have on our shelves many memoirs by TV performers such as Star Trek's William Shatner and Friends' Matthew Perry.
