HPL and HPL Express are closed 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Monday, February 16 for staff training. Both locations will reopen at 1 p.m. and resume regular hours.

Join Specialty Serpents as they share their expertise with us. There is no doubt that amphibians and reptiles play significant cultural and even sometimes religious roles base on what our present attitudes and perceptions of them are. From Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Jurassic Park to many other live action and animated movies, there are many films, TV shows, and movies which show or feature reptiles in some scene or another! Learn more about a few of the herps seen in movies, where they come from, and some fun behind the scenes move facts and trivia which might pertain to them.  

Animals at this event are for temporary exhibition/educational purposes only and are not permanently kept within the City of Janesville.
