Read Around Wisconsin

Families across the community are invited to join the newly revamped 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program! This exciting, localized take on the national initiative introduces a “Read Around Wisconsin” theme exclusive to libraries in this region. It is designed to nurture early literacy skills and strengthen the bond between children and their caregivers.

By reading just one book a day, families can reach the 1,000-book milestone in under three years, equipping young children with essential pre-reading skills while fostering a love for books. Along the way, participants will earn fun prizes and learn fascinating Wisconsin facts, creating a uniquely engaging reading experience.
