Types of Materials Offered
Hedberg Public Library has thousands of materials you can use for free, including the following:

• Books - more than 152,000 at last count
• Magazines and newspapers - nearly 500 subscriptions
• Videotapes and DVDs - more than 14,000 titles
• Books on tape, CD, MP3 and Playaway - let someone read you a story for a change
• Music CDs - a collection of nearly 12,000 discs
• Spanish books, videotapes and CDs
• Large-type books and descriptive videos - for the visually impaired
• Back issues of The Janesville Gazette and New York Times - on microfilm
• Jackpot books - additional copies of popular items that can be check out for just a week

In addition to the above materials, The Children's Room offers educational toys, games and CD-ROMS. And in Teen Central, you'll find a great collection of comics and graphic novels.
