PATTY HERNANDEZ, PRESIDENT

"I believe that the Hedberg Public Library is a valuable resource for our community. I love the library because there are so many amazing resources, in print or digital. My family has been able to enjoy several books, movies, and games because of the library. I love that our library offers an incredible selection of books and movies, free internet, classes, and story time. Thank you for engaging the whole family!"

Patty is an educator and community leader, holding a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Edgewood College. Currently, she serves as the principal of ARISE Virtual Academy, where she leads with passion and empowers students through innovative online education.

With a vision to inspire a passion for the community and provide students with exceptional educational opportunities, Patty believes in the transformative power of school-community partnerships. She actively contributes to the Janesville community, serving on various boards and engaging in initiatives aimed at creating positive change. Patty's dedication to education and her commitment to empowering students make her an influential leader in her role as the principal of ARISE Virtual Academy.
