The Teen Central 2007 summer library program was a huge success!


Game Stats:

  • 449 middle and high school students got in the game!
  • 6,552 hours were read this summer! That's equivilent to
    • 273 days OR
         39 weeks OR 9.1 months!
  • 965 book reviews were written.
  • 766 chance tickets were purchased. What was the favorite prize?
         Movie passes and book lights!
  • 508 hours were spent volunteering by teens. Volunteer projects included      Adopt-a-Stack, Reader's Theatre, the children's Get a Clue @ Your Library      program and the Harry Potter party.

    • 136 teens volunteered more than 634 hours from September 2006 through August 2007. A reception was held in honor of their contributions. Thank you to all our teen volunteers!
