Winter Programs and Events
No registration is required for the following programs, unless noted.

Storytimes  go
for babies, toddlers and preschoolers
Please call the Children's Room at 758-6585 if you have any questions about
storytime at the library.

Learning Through Play
– for children ages 1-5 years
Saturday, March 22 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Sunday, March 23 from 1-4 p.m.
Drop in and join your child as he/she explores, discovers and learns through play. Play is an avenue through which children can express their emotions, build relationships with others and master difficult experiences. Play stations and activities are easy to duplicate at home. An adult caregiver must accompany children. No registration necessary. Families welcome.

Family Fun

Celebrate Lunar New Year

Have fun exploring different themes through stories, activities and more. Because this is a special program for elementary school children, younger siblings are not invited.

Tail-Waggin’ Tutors
for kids in grades 1-5
Thursdays from 6:30-8 p.m.

Sign up for 15 minutes of reading time with Maggie, the lovable Lhasa Apso from
Tail-Waggin’ Tutors

Crime Caper
Saturday, February 1, 1-2:30 p.m.
Become a library detective and test your skills as we follow clues to rescue
a “stolen” piece of art.

Saturday, March 22, 1-2:30 p.m. or 3-4:30 p.m.
Play Minecraft without using your daily computer time.
Minecraft account and email not needed.

Knifty Knitters
-for kids in grades 3-12
Wednesdays from 3:45-4:45 p.m.
January 8 - February 26

Yarn and needles will be provided – or bring your own supplies.
Meets in the Children’s Room.

Star Wars
Tuesday, April 15, 1-2:30 p.m.
Yoda says, “To the library for an afternoon of Star Wars fun you will come.”
Costumes are encouraged.
