No registration is required for the following programs, unless noted.

Storytimes  
for babies, toddlers and preschoolers

Learning Through Play - for children 1-5 years old
Saturdays from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Sundays from 1 - 4 p.m.
January 14 & 15 | February 11 & 12 | March 10 & 11
Drop in and join your child as he/she explores, discovers and learns through play.  Play is an
avenue through which children can express their emotions, build relationships with others and master difficult experiences. Play stations and activities are easy to duplicate at home. An adult caregiver must accompany children. No registration necessary.

Please call the Children's Room (758-6585) if you have any questions about storytime at the library.

Library Explorers – for kids in grades K-5
Every Monday at 3:30 p.m.
Winter Session: January 9 - February 13
Spring Session: March 5 - May 7*
Have fun exploring different themes through stories, activities and more. No registration necessary. Because this is a special program for elementary school children, younger siblings are not invited.

* No program Monday, April 30 (due to El día de los niños, el día de los libros program)

Awesome Activities – for kids in grades 3-6
Space is limited to 25.
Registration is required, call 758-6585 or stop by the Children’s Desk.

It’s All Food and Games
Saturday, January 21from 1-2:30 p.m.
Munch on snacks while playing a variety of games, including Wii and PS2.

39 Clues Challenge
Saturday, February 25 from 1-2:30 p.m.
Sharpen your detective skills with the library’s version of 39 Clues.

Totally Titanic
Wednesday, April 4 from 2-3:30 p.m.
Mark the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic with games and activities.

Dream Big - Be a Movie Star
Saturday, May 5 from 1-2:30 p.m.
Make a short movie to promote this summer’s reading program: Dream Big - Read!

Family Fun – for kids and their families

Celebrate Lunar New Year

Join us to celebrate the Lunar New Year with stories, music and more.

Mardi Gras
Sunday, February 5, 2-4 p.m.
Join us for food, music and fun as we learn how this tradition is celebrated in France, Canada and the United States.

Lego Library
Sunday, February 19, 2-4 p.m.
Sunday, March 4, 2-4 p.m.
Build, create and enjoy! Legos and duplos will be available for kids from toddlers to teens. Adults must be accompanied by a child.

Happy Birthday Mosi!
Saturday, March 24, 2-4 p.m.
Help us celebrate Mosi the giraffe’s birthday with party games, songs and of course birthday treats! Donations of cake mix, frosting and candles will be accepted for ECHO.

El día de los niños, el día de los libros
Monday, April 30, 6:30-8 p.m.
Celebrate this special day with fun-filled activities, stories, food and books!

Thursdays from 4 - 5:30 p.m.
