Camp HPL is a great way to focus on one topic for multiple, hands-on, interactive sessions. It’s all about growing and exploring, while having fun at the library with new friends!

1000 Books Before Kindergarten: Party with a Mouse

Join the mischievous mouse from If You Give a Mouse a Cookie for a special party to celebrate our 1000 Books readers.

Teddy Bear Sleepover
Thursday, October 27, 7 p.m.
Your favorite stuffed friend is invited for a special sleepover at the library. Join us
for Teddy Bear Tuck-in Time along with a bedtime story and song. Your stuffed friend* will stay and enjoy a fun night with other special friends - look for pictures on Facebook!

Pick-up your special friend anytime on Friday, October 28th or Saturday, October 29th between 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Día de los Muertos
Saturday, October 29, 1-4 p.m.
Learn about Day of the Dead, a traditional Latin American holiday, by watching the
film, The Book of Life (PG, 1h 35mins). After the movie, enjoy some traditional crafts
and snacks.

Sample the sights and sounds of cultures around the world right at your library.

Board Game Day

Celebrate National Board Game Day and show us your skills! We’ll have games ready for you to try, or bring one of your own! Drop in and play classics like Candyland and Apples to Apples, or try something new!
