Join a team to compete in the 2017-2018 Wonder Workshop Robotics Competition. All levels of coding experience are welcome. Coding Club will meet on Wednesdays from 4-5:30 p.m. Dates to be determined.



Camp HPL is a great way to focus on one topic for multiple, hands-on, interactive sessions. It’s all about growing and exploring, while having fun at the library with new friends! Registration is required. Register online using the links below, at the Children’s Desk, or call 758-6585.

App Camp for kids in grades K-2
Explore fun apps including the library’s green screen photo booth. Sign up for one or all of the dates below. Limit of 25 participants.

Pokémon Go Historical Walk
presented by the Rock County Historical Society
Saturday, September 30, 1 p.m.
Hunt for Pokémon and learn a little local history. The walk begins in the library’s Program Room. Kids age 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Meet Woof & Quack
Tuesday, October 10, 6:30 p.m.
Join author and HPL staff member, Jamie A. Swenson, for the very first reading of her new easy reader series. A book sale, signing and cake reception will follow the reading.

Things That Go Bump in the Night
